Privacy Policy
SH-MEDIA Kft. (“Controller”, “we”) is committed to protecting the personal data of visitors to its website and of everyone who contacts it. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the sh-media.hu website, for what purposes and on what legal basis, how long we keep it, who can access it, and what rights you have.
We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information.

2. Contact and quote requests
If you contact us via the contact form on the website or by email, we process your data as follows:
- Data processed: name, email address, phone number (optional), the content of your message and any other data you voluntarily include in it, the fact that you accepted this privacy policy, and the time the message was sent.
- Purpose: answering your enquiry, keeping in touch with you and, on request, preparing a quote.
- Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); for quote requests, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Retention: 1 year after your enquiry has been closed, or until you withdraw your consent. If a contract is concluded, the related data is kept for the period required by law (e.g. Hungarian accounting law).
Messages sent through the form are not stored in the website’s database: they are delivered by email to info@sh-media.hu and handled there. Filling in the form is voluntary, but we cannot reply without your name and email address.
3. Website security
- Data processed: your IP address, the time of your visit, the address of the page viewed, and the type of browser and operating system.
- Purpose: protecting the security of the website, filtering out attacks and unsolicited (spam) messages, and troubleshooting.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: log data is kept for up to 30 days, unless it is needed longer to investigate a security incident.
4. Cookies
The website does not place cookies in visitors’ browsers, does not use any web analytics, tracking or marketing tools, and serves all of its content – including fonts – from its own hosting, so no data is sent to third-party servers during your visit.
5. Who has access to your data?
Your personal data can only be accessed by our authorised staff. We do not share it with third parties unless required by law. We use the following processor:
- Hosting and email services (operating the website, and receiving and storing messages): OPI-SOFT Kft.
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
6. Data security
The website is only available over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Personal data is stored in password-protected systems, access is limited to what is necessary, the website and its plugins are updated regularly, and the site is protected by a security (firewall) plugin.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- request information about and access to your personal data (Article 15 GDPR);
- request the rectification (Article 16) or erasure (Article 17) of your data;
- request the restriction of processing (Article 18);
- receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (data portability, Article 20);
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21);
- withdraw your consent at any time (Article 7(3)). Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
You can send your request to info@sh-media.hu or by post to our registered office. We will respond without undue delay and in any case within one month.
8. Remedies
If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes your rights, please contact us first so that we can resolve the issue together. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
